Today, we are going to talk about the four seasons of the year. Do you know what they are? Let’s name them together: spring, summer, autumn (or fall), and winter. Each season is unique and has its own characteristics. Now, let’s talk about them one by one.
1. Spring
Spring is the season of rebirth and growth. It usually starts in March and ends in May. During spring, flowers bloom, trees grow new leaves, and the weather becomes warmer. Many people enjoy spring because it is beautiful and fresh. It is also a good time to plant new crops.
2. Summer
Summer is the hottest season of the year. It starts in June and ends in August. The days are long, and the nights are short. Many people go on vacation during summer. They enjoy swimming, having picnics, and spending time outdoors. Summer is a great time to relax and have fun.
3. Autumn (or Fall)
Autumn starts in September and ends in November. It is the season when leaves change their color and fall from the trees. The weather becomes cooler, and people prepare for winter. Many people love autumn because it is calm and peaceful. It is also the season of harvest.
4. Winter
Winter is the coldest season. It starts in December and ends in February. In many countries, it snows in winter, and the days are short. People wear warm clothes like jackets, scarves, and gloves. Winter is also a time for holidays such as Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
