To understand fate, we must explore its dual interpretations: determinism and free will. Determinism suggests that everything in our lives is already predetermined. According to this belief, from the moment we are born, our journey is set. It’s like being on a train, traveling along a fixed track. We may look out the window and enjoy the view, but ultimately, the train will reach its predestined destination.

On the other hand, free will argues that we are in control of our destinies. When you decide to study instead of watching TV, when you choose to speak up or remain silent – these are decisions entirely within your power. Proponents of free will believe our lives are more like a blank canvas, and we are the artists.

Now, how do these two concepts coexist? Most of us experience moments in life when things feel "meant to be." Finding a long-lost friend by chance or getting an unexpected opportunity can feel like fate playing its part. And yet, there are times when our actions, decisions, and hard work seem to create our destiny.
